An Overbust corset is a corset that goes over your bustline (or breasts). It may cover a portion of your bust, or it may cover the entire bust, depending on the corset style and your particular figure. An Underbust corset is a corset that does not cover the bustline. Sometimes  this  corset is  called a  cincher,  a waist  cincher or a half-corset.

Why is it important to wear the correct size bra?

Although corsets are designed to be worn as clothing, some can be successfully used as a back support garment.  Please  make  sure  to check with  your physician  before purchasing a corset for medical use.

Do you fit  corsets for Transgender/Men/Crossdressers?

What is a Cinchers corset?

Often Underbust corsets are referred to as "cinchers" or "waist cinchers" - this is the term for a corset that  does  not  cover  the  bustline,  and  which  concentrates  specifically  on  reshaping  the  waist.

Most women walking around in the wrong bra size are wearing a bra with too big a band size and too small a cup size. So, a good starting point is to go down a band size and up 2 cup sizes and see how that size feels. For example, if you are wearing a 40C go to a 38DD (or 38F), you go up 2 cup sizes  because  when  you  go  down  a  band  size, the same cup size will actually be smaller as well.

How can I get measured for a corset?

Whereas traditional bras are designed to provide support, a sports bra is designed to support and also reduce breast movement.  It has been estimated that  the average underwire  reduces breast movement by 38%. However,  a  good  sports  bra  can r educe breast  movement  by at least 56%.

Men often wear corsets. Many men want or need the back support that a corset can offer. Some may wish to use a corset to help with weight loss, and others wish to obtain more of an hourglass shape with their corset.

Do you custom fit bras and corsets?

No, but here is the trade-off. A softcup bra can be more comfortable, but does not shape your breasts. A proper sized  underwire  bra can be comfortable and will provide attractive shaping to your breasts.

By far, the most common mistake among full-figured or plus size women is buying a bra with cups that are too small and then compensating by going up to a band size that is too big for them. This mistake is understandable since  many  bra  styles  don't  come  in  larger  cup  sizes.  However,  you  are  doing  a disservice to yourself. Find
out   what  your  measurements  are  and  only  buy  bras  that  are  made  specifically  for  your  measurements.

I have narrow shoulders and my straps keep falling down,   what should I do?

Can full-figured women only wear under-wire bras?

Women with narrow shoulders need to find a bra style with close-set straps. Racer-back style bras are one great solution. Demi cup and front closure bras tend to have straps set farther apart and should therefore be avoided.

Wearing a badly fitted bra can actually make you ill!  Both headache and neck pain can be caused by a wrong sized bra! Many women use bras with too large of a band size and too small of a cup size. In such cases, the breasts are supported by the shoulder straps, which will cause a lot of unnecessary pressure on the shoulders (which again can cause neck pain  and  headache).  With a  perfect  fitted bra,  the breasts  are supported  from  underneath  and  not  from  the  shoulder  straps.  This   way  pressure  on  the   shoulders   will  be  minimal.
